Jewel is a heavy wool female with reddish brown fine silky fiber.  She has a flashy white and grey ring around her neck and pretty hooked ears.  Jewel’s pedigree goes back to the breeding program of Bob and Monte Houseman, Lla-Mirage Llamas.   Zydeco, her grand-sire, was their first herd sire and produced a lot of champions.  Jewel has produced champions too.  SHAG Hott Shot was  Regional Grand Champion HW Male and top 10 at Nationals 06.  His full brother, SHAG Braveheart is our daughter Olivia’s performance llama.  He has won Grand and Reserve Grand Performance and also places well in halter and futurities.  Jewel’s claim to fame however is Power Seeker’s Abaco of Bahamas.  A suri beauty,  Abaco will be a hard act to follow but we are gonna try!
